Today I will show you how to do a firmware update for Android Mini PC MK908 from Tronsmart, stick with android operating system that turns a normal TV smart TV.
To update the firmware on MK908 we need:
1. Stick MK908 no cables or memory card connected
2. USB cable that came with Android MK908 stick in the package.
3. A pin or a thin steel wire (for pressing internal)
4. Firmware and drivers (see below at the end of text)
Onwards all need to install the USB driver (the most important), because the application of NAND flash to see and be able to write data there.
For insalarea driver must connect the USB cable to the computer, then to stick MK908 OTG port (required) while we keep hidden reset button.
Windows will detect a new device but will not be able to find the driver, you have to install it manually in November (just like in the tutorial).
If you have installed the USB driver correctly, you will receive the message “Found RKAndroid….” When launching the flash application, if you have not installed it correctly you will receive the message “No Found RKAndroid….”
If the driver installation went as it should at the bottom of the flash tool you have the message "Found RKAndroid rock usb" means that you can start flashing (exactly as in the tutorial).

It depends a lot on the version of the device you have, I don't know what version you have, but I personally have v5.0 and I struggled for 2 days to put a new firmware version on this device!
