Cristi's ok except DVD-WR system LG. They are the worst tools manufactured. Happened to me once not to go to diversity, to burn a DVD with LG DVD-WR and the same DVD-WR not read it. I highly recommend ASUS. We go one 3 years now with no problems.
I just would not recommend Asus, some models do not know how to burn DVD-RW DVD + RW achimb ones burn them pretty well, say no more noise when it closes about the break, now do not know whether or not all be so, I may have got bad units, I had to deal with any 3 pieces, two mine and one was a friend, all wrecks.
For best results I recommend Samsung drives for some time go by Samsung and are happy, I even burned dual-layer Xbox and it worked perfectly, as we know this is the ultimate test, burn dual-layer consoles.

Remember that processors AM3 compatible with AM2 + (motherboards AM2 + are cheaper, but do not support memory DDR3, suffers DDR2 but Athlon II, Phenom II memory controller and DDR2 and DDR3) + as DDR2 to 1066 MHz is comparable to 3 DDR1600 Mhz (rather small differences). HD5750 and HD5770 are the "cheapest" new generation cards from ATI (about 500-600 RON). And of course the GPU is important… lol. The 5750GB GDDR1 HD5 I have uses about 966 MB in GTA IV. I don't know if it uses all the video memory in the rest of the games. For video cards there would be more to say for example… how many bits are (128 bits / 256 bits / etc). Mine is 128 bits (HD5750 on 256 bits I have not seen). Theoretically, a 256-bit video card would provide twice the speed (bandwidth) of a 128-bit. One more thing about video cards… some are not overclocked from the factory so you can overclock them, others are overclocked from the factory and you have nothing to pull me from them in addition. For example, for me, the factory HD5750 has a GPU of 700 Mhz and GDDR5 memory set to 1150 Mhz.
