I researched on the internet and saw that a SATA hard 2 running on a motherboard like mine that only separation from the other performance is 1 sata port. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Cristian for the tutorial on activating AHCI on an already installed windows. Finally, through the tutorial, I managed to do what many "specialists" have not been able to do for 2 years since I try to solve this problem. I 14 110-series models 3100, What's yours? In principle must be disabled AHCI in the BIOS and set the IDE or non AHCI. I had windows installed on hdd 7 in AHCI after I installed the ssd windows sees both fresh and perhaps you do not have windows on the hdd and therefore does not see, try to connect the HDD on sata ports 4- 5 in bios have the option to select ports 4 5-IDE or SATA (gigabyte motherboard). Can not find msahci in registry. Can anyone tell me how I enable AHCI in Windows I do know that ASRock Extreme 970 3 supports AHCI. I installed OS win. 8 SV300 a Kingston SSD and HDD storage WD1002FAEX that makes a noise drives me crazy (squeak) and do not know why? All PC components are new. In device manager I looked and are on IDE controller and the BIOS is set to IDE. 100 times I searched the registry and found no msahci (and please do not tell me to get another look) is certainly another problem and please help me I do not want to reinstall the operating system if it is possible to make windows.

AHCI is for SSD and HDD.
AHCI Advanced Host Controller Interface means and is a technology that was originally made for HDD.
