How to solve some problems when uninstalling an antivirus - video tutorial

Hi friends, in today's tutorial we will see together how do if we want to uninstall the software or a security suite which refuse to be uninstalled from the operating system. In many cases happened to you uninstall a security software that you probably will not like it but in the process have noticed that it refuses to uninstall from your operating system displaying some pop-ups that mentions that there is an error or lispeste a file.
This happens to a lot of people do not do correctly when he wants to uninstall antivirus. Everyone goes to the Start menu> Control Panel> Add / Remove Programs and uninstall wizard starts the software or security suite. You should know that when a security software or security suite runs in the background running some protection services, some files are used security software is basically in constant motion. Therefore when we want to uninstall security software, it warns us in various pop-ups as some services running or some files are in use and can not continue to uninstall it. Non-technical people began to shake and to blame the software, it's not good, it can not be uninstalled, not working out, she's getting all sorts of error messages actually not understanding the correct data security software in various pop- ups.
Here are the correct steps that must be completed before uninstalling a software or security suite:
- check the system tray icon (next to the clock) of the antivirus or security suite. Most software have the function of stopping services or protection, scanning and checking modules in the menu that will appear with a simple right click on the antivirus icon in the ystem tray. Protection services must be stopped.
- For some time, most security software and especially security suites have a module called Self Defense, the self-defense software or security suite against viruses that would try to stop or disable security software protection services. This module, depending on its complexity, can prevent the remote intervention of another user who would try to change the settings or stop running the security software. Self Defens is usually found in the advanced security software settings and must be disabled before uninstalling the security software.
- If, however, you have gone through all these steps and the security software refuses to complete the uninstall wizard then you will have to resort to the special software available at each manufacturer of antivirus, software or tools for uninstalling security suites. These can be found on the official website of each manufacturer.
That said, I invite you to watch the video tutorial to see exactly what the correct steps and how to proceed if the software or security suite, refuses to uninstall the operating system.

After restarting the PC is indicated to clean sopecial system with a program created for that (CCleaner, Auslogics, WinUtilities, TuneUp etc).

Revo can and, tutorial but these steps are identical. The process is executed:
      - deactivate the program - uninstall with the utility offered by the manufacturer (the cleanest procedure) or with the Windows procedure (from the Control Panel) or with the uninstall command from the respective program (not all programs have something like that) or with a special program created for that something (your example Revo).
Please note that uninstalling the tutorial is a process developed in stages, in which mandatory first step is to disable the program (applies to all active programs in PC memory).

    If Comodo IS:
    - first of all, you have to turn off, in turn, all the modules (put on "Disable" Firewall, Antivirus, Defense +, Sandboxie; this is done by right-clicking on the icon on the bottom right;
    - then right click on the icon on the bottom right and "Exit"
    - after that go to the comodo program menu (from the Start -Comodo menu or from the folder located in the C - Programs partition) and choose the "Add and Remove components" command and uninstall the program by selecting the "Remove" option.
    Restart PC.
Warning: if you use / run Sandboxie (ie if you open any file / program with Sandboxie) then do the following:
    - enter partition C
    - set from “folder and search option” - “Wiew” so that the hidden files are visible (check the option “Show hidden…”)
    - then delete the VirtualBox folder, or something like that.
If you also set the DNS, enter the "Network connection" settings and set it to automatically obtain the DNS.

I also have a confusion between Avira and Avast, namely I don't know which antivirus would be better. I installed Avast and the umpic pica system, umpic in the sense that it started from those errors that contained the options Dont'e send, Debug, details and Send report, to the Control panel where not all the programs were displayed. I think these things were caused by Avast because it also found viruses in the Windows directory. I am waiting for an answer.

Do a full scan with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and DrWebCureIT.

      Usage Malwarebytes'Anti-Malware:
      - is saved on the desktop
      - is installing
      - at the end of the installation, check the following: Update Malwarebytes 'Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. Then press Finish
      - after launching the program, click on the Update tab and click the Check for Updates button to check if the downloaded definitions are the last
      - click on the Scanner tab, select Perform full scan and then click on Scan
      - at the end of the scan press OK and then Show Results
      - everything must be checked from the detection list and then click Remove Selected
      - at the end a file will open in Notepad with the scan results where you can see what this utility did
      - everything that is deleted will be found in Quarantine

      Usage Dr.Web CureIt !:
      - is saved on the desktop
      - it is not installed but it is simply run with a click on its icon (it is only an executable)
      - remove the Internet cable
      - the real-time protection (shield) of the antivirus installed on the PC stops
      - it is scanned full with this utility
      - initially, when running, Dr.Web CureIt! an Express Scan begins. Press the Stop button on the right when it is green. Then check the Complete Scan on the left and so on the right on the green Play button.
      - at the end of the scan, all the detected files are disinfected / deleted
      - PC restart, antivirus protection is activated, internet cable is connected.

If you do not get rid of viruses, do scans in Safe Mode.

After you get rid of viruses clean pc with a specialized program for it (CCleaner, Auslogics, WinUtilities, TuneUp etc.).

You presented a Miniguide use for Malwarebytes'Anti-Malware and DrWebCureIT. They complement or enough for only one scan?
Why do I ask? I use Avast as an antivirus, plus Spybot Search & Destroy. Sometimes, after a scan with SS&D or CCleaner, some icons on the Desktop appear surrounded by a white square. What would be their significance? I mention that after a while, after other scans (once even after a System Restore) the icons return to normal. Sorry for deviating from the tutorial topic.

You said exactly what Francis on Malwarebytes'Anti-Malware and DrWebCureIT. They normally have compiled the first time you knew what you told Mr. Francis about Malwarebytes'Anti-Malware, then about DrWeBCureIT. Malwarebytes'Anti-Malware scans more such viruses malware and scans DrWebCureIT almost all related in terms of virus definitions.

      1) scan both take turns.
      2) Uninstall Spybot Search & Destroy. You don't need him.
      3) “… some icons on the Desktop appear surrounded by a white square. What would be their meaning? ”- I have no way of knowing. It could be an error (or more). But if I don't know anything about your operating system (type, installed programs, usage, etc.) I can't comment.

You can also delete the mother of the registers because you will not solve anything, even if you use their uninstall utility you will still know that you used that trial, you had to install kis and use the commercial license, there is another method to "trick" the product, such as going into safe mode and searching for / deleting "something", backing up / restoring before installing the product, restoring before, etc.… to be able to install it again. I say too much information again 😉

I also need help, if someone is willing to help me… the other day, on the tablet I get an announcement that I have a virus, so I try to operate the antivirus already installed, and I get an advertisement that gave me only 2 options to I access the respective antivirus for a fee, 2 different prices, finally I accessed the cheap one, it was immediately solved with the virus and of course they took my money as well. Now I have uninstalled the antivirus, but I don't know what will happen, will it take my money for that antivirus again next month? If anyone knows how to answer me, please help me a lot, and thank you in advance! A good day!
