Google Camera is an application that until recently was only found on phones and tablets Nexus and GPE (Google Play Experience). Google Now Camera is available free to everyone and provides Android users new features.

Not everyone has a powerful machine and not everyone cares to the DSLR everywhere.

It doesn't work on HTC One S… You forgot to mention that only the ones without Sense and TouchWiz work.
Before achieving this tutorial I tested the application and it worked on Nexus 4 (obviously) but the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

I don't know why you flashed CyanogenMod 11, what official firmware wasn't good? why did you start unofficial firmware on that phone. I do NOT RECOMMEND unofficial firmware given by the manufacturer !!!!! Google chamber runs on devices that have Android 4.4 Kitkat. This was stated in the text above tutorial in previous comments.
