MKV is a container, like MP4 if compression was already high and space do not win anything, maybe if you do transcoding compatibility issues.
My file was the result of a shooting with camera (DSLR), a 50 Mbps bitrate.

To make 700 MB or 1.36 GB XviD movies, you need two more programs. AvsPmod (to set the desired resolution according to AR, crop if necessary) and VirtualDubMod. The making of the film will be done in two steps. There will be 3 files, of which only one will be the movie itself. I encoded a MPEG Video File Version 2 1,67 of GB and the result has 6.7 GB, I looked and Media Info and was "Format profile: High 4: 4: 4 [email protected]"But when I open it with Windows Media Player, only the black screen appears. If I open with Media Player Classic the slide with duration goes directly to the end and so does the black screen. I don't have certain codecs, do I?
