Many of you probably wanted a software that you can log in with all the ids it has… and Yahoo Messenger and GoogleTalk and MSN, well here is this program that we allow this to exist !!! It has existed for a long time but probably many do not even know or have not found out about its existence.
In today's tutorial I decided to speak Pidgin! What is Pidgin? A multi protocol Instant Messaging platform more Explained this is a FREE chat software with which we can logam on all our accounts! We can also use it to post Multi Messenger!
Pidgin allows us to login protocols (accounts) such as:

What is the beauty of this software? Well, let's see: Imaginative what your desktop would look like with Yahoo Messenger open and GoogleTalk and MSN and ICQ… it would be a full desktop, processes running in the task manager, and unnecessarily consumed RAM. one program, and let's talk practically with everyone no matter what chat protocol they are part of in a single window, logging in on how many IDs we want and on how many accounts we want!

I use this pidgin in Ubuntu 9.04. I have a little problem. Binds problem with the file transfer protocol of yahoo.
When I receive files from someone, everything is fine. but when I send files to someone, at first glance it seems that the transfer is made… but the other person never receives anything. A strange thing is related to the fact that when I drag and drop the cat (and not only) in the conversation window, it immediately seems that the transfer begins to take place… without the other person giving the consent for the file, obviously the other does not will notice that I tried to transfer something. @marius: For details about Pidgin in Linux go to ubuntu.ro ubuntu romania is the official site, there they have a forum in Romanian where the problem of pidgin was discussed, they have a mirc channel where you can enter and talk to those there in real time…

@olmonik: You probably have the windows firewall activated and it blocks your torrent client, go to the control panel and then to the firewall and deactivate it, turn it off, just as the windows one is useless and blocks only what you don't need !! Or probably the torrent you want to download is no longer valid… try to take it from elsewhere and forget to have many seeders!

pidgin is great… besides the fact that it has so many protocols… it also has an act… you can find out the ip of the person you are chatting with…! from here you will realize for yourself how many possibilities you have and what you can do restu! rest it's just "words"!
