Hi friends, in this tutorial video you will be introduced to an interesting program, it is called Predator and can help to transform a USB stick in a key computer, now you can lock and unlock almost instant PC without the jab in standby or hibernation.
Predator uses the usb stick to store a "key" file, this file is read every few seconds, if the stick is not found in the usb port of course the key cannot be read, if the Prerdator cannot read the automatic key will lock your pc, simple!
This program is great for those that develop their activity on the office PC (surrounded by curious), it's pretty uncomfortable to close PC every time, some PCs very difficult start. Predator just need to get out and stick to computer crashes, to return our reintroduce you simply stick a USB port and PC is automatically unlocked.

You don't have to format anything, press the "space" key and in 20 seconds enter the password you have to choose when configuring the software for situations where you can no longer unlock the PC with the stick!

Find a password to your mind as a software key that only accept the stick and password in case of loss of stickers! If you have no password and no Stik your PC is locked you can not do anything to pass the barrier program to have access to the PC! The only solution is to reinstall the operating system!

There is the command "windows" + L key to activate the Windows password screen and it does about the same thing. And there is no need to put in standby, hibernation, etc.

I really needed something like that and I worked with CD Menu Pro (it was all I found! - shame on me, I know), a program that, although it is very easy to use and has some interesting options integrated, I it seems really ugly and very poor as beautiful, attractive graphic options, from 2011. I would be especially interested in finding such a program.

Instead of a stick, I use a 32MB MMC card that I keep in my laptop's card reader, and the program does its job very well. For those who have a laptop, I think it's more convenient with a card than with a stick, as there are few USB ports. I don't use the card reader very often, and when I need it I take out the "key" and enter with the help of the password, doing my job without any problem. Hi Cristi, I really appreciate what you do, but I met a problem on this little program if I may say so. It is a problem similar to the one you had in videotutorial.
You said that it was worth unlocking when you inserted the USB stick, but it doesn't work for me (unlocking with a stick). I did all those steps… I even looked for the “key” which of course I found in a stick called “'Predator.ctl” (~ 4kb) which out of curiosity I opened with notepad. Of course it was exactly what I expected: a series of letters and numbers (a code) as in many encryption programs.
The problem is that it ONLY recognizes my password as a "key" so I don't know how to proceed.
I checked to see if any necompatibilitate in my laptop Acer Extensa 5620 with the following configuration:
OS: Windows Ultimate 7.
RAM: 1GB
System type: 32-bit Operating System
CPU: Intel Core Duo CPU 2 5450 T1.66 @ GH.
HDD: 120 GB.
256 MB Mobile Intel Graphics.
It is a very powerful but sitem not enough (less RAM), but given that I am not a gaming enthusiast, I do not need a gaming video card, but I use just normal things: the general office, internet, music, movies, without many resources I have.
It is possible that there is a problem with the fact that it runs on 32 bits (officially the "Predator" program must run well on both 32 and 64).
The "Predator" software used is free (30 days).
What would you recommend?

That vulnerability is apparent and I discovered it too but DON'T forget to check the 'AutoStart with Windows' option in "Preferences"> Advanced options> 'AutoStart with Windows'.
Be sure you will not have problems if you and restart, but you need to check this as soon as the OS you are logged on and (if applicable) and in seconds the program starts you out immediately if you have not activated any key (stick) and ask you certain key or password.
I tested it.
I tried the password and it still does not recognize anything as odd conclusion is worthless predator program
