I don't know why you and magda have this problem but for me one doesn't have this problem… my advice would be to uninstall the virtual box with the help of Revo about which we also have a tutorial, you can find it with the Search on the top right, and then to reinstall the virtual box and put the vdi image on another partition than the C, somewhere in a folder.
