Haswell system configuration, ssd, usb3, fast boot to 1000 lei

Hi friends, today we set up a system with a fixed budget of £ 1000 and next time we will purchase and assemble components with this tight budget we will do a competent enough for most tasks. We build everything around a G3220 Intel Pentium processor which is extremely close as Haswell processors performance i3 series.
This tutorial will be followed by a second tutorial in which we assemble all the same components that I recommend the tutorial will be used to build the system.
For storage we did not compromise, we equipped the system with 120 GB SSD enough for any operating system and even install more applications and games (not too large).
The motherboard has everything i need a modern tile has USB3, HDMI, DVI, VGA, and known SATA3 ASRock UEFI we help to boot into Windows in just seconds 1.2 course provided to be used SSD.
Memory is of course DDR3 but I opted for 1600 MHz frequency integrated graphics to give more speed because the integrated graphics processor has its own RAM, it uses the system RAM.
To power the system we chose a source of 500W Raidsonic is not the most efficient source in the world but has active PFC and a fan 120 mm, this means that you will be quite economical and in addition will be much quieter than stock sources that come with cheap shells.

Recommended Components:
Intel ® PentiumTM G3220, 3000MHz, Haswell, 3MB Socket 1150, Box
ASRock B85M-HDS, Socket 1150
Kingmax Memory 4GB, DDR3, 1600MHz (Can be fitted to two for dual channel, if the budget allows)
Flash SSD Kingston V300 2.5 ″, 120GB, SATA 3
Source Raidmax RX-500AZ, 500W, 2.0 ATX, Active PFC
Housing Segotep 371D PS-ATX, no power, Black

Optionally you can add a video card to run heavy games and programs that require parallel processing (Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Auto Cad, etc.)
We recommend:
NVIDIA Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 WINDFORCE 2X, 2048MB, GDDR5, 192bit, HDMI, 2x DVI, Display Port

ps: that source doesn't hold the recommended 660 video card - sure. he doesn't have that 500 reais. I think something pops up with the video card in full load.

Hello! I want to buy just the processor, motherboard and RAM for an upgrade to an older PC. I choose Intel Celeron or Intel Pentium G1820 G3220? I use PC just for Facebook, YouTube, Messenger, browsing, and very rarely a CS series and do heavy multitasking. Maximum budget is £ 500. I understand that there is much difference between Celeron and Pentium.
    Thanks for answer in advance!

    Hello Cristi.

I'd like to ask you if you could do a tutorial like this, but Gameing systems for a maximum budget of £ 1.800.

I want a little more performance parts (especially the CPU).

    Can you help me please?

    • The current system is good for gaming, just to add a video card (gtx 660 or 760), a more efficient source (Corsair, Seasonic, ENERMAX) and another memory module exactly as in the tutorial.
I guarantee that is great for any current game and still no 3 years to come.
You do not have to fall into place marketing. Mid level components are quite efficient and do not need 1500 processors lei and lei 3000 video card to play fifa or wow or FPS.

  7. very loud, clear, short and to the point. greetings and videotutorial course wait and next to the mounting

Hello Cristi I want to tell you that I'm very close with my PC this configuration that you did it yourself. Between my PC and the motherboard only your configuration is different, I got a ASRock H81M-GL to really recognize my motherboard GB RAM 4 1600 MHz processor but I do not recognize the 1600 MHz, why say I do not recognize the processor specifications for that says it works with more than 1333 MHz RAM, and when I enter the bios shows me that really works at 1333 MHz memory.
If you can through the BIOS setup you can do to work on 1600 MHz would like to see or to show us how the next tutorial.
    Thank you.

Is a system made on kavery architecture better than this? I would ask you to make a tutorial based on the fm2 + platform, more precisely Kavery… A small tutorial, smaller than this one… :) to show if it is worth kaveri or something else, for the same money

    • Florin said

Kavery architecture increases the energy bill, so it's hotter but cheaper than an Intel and is generally used for gaming. If you want a "cold" processing, intensive mathematical calculations such as AutoCad, video renderings, use intel and video card with chipset from nVidia, with no bits and CUDA as high as possible. Any system based on AMD architecture leads to high power consumption, the only major disadvantage, in my opinion. The choice is yours!

  13. Put a link, please source that you recommend for this system with the video card above.

  14. Mariusica said

Thanks for the reply. The problem is, I'm just interested in gaming for something as cheap and good as possible…

  16. Back with the request: a recommended source that lead system plus optional video card. Thanks

  18. Dear Cristi,
follow your reviews with pleasure, very interesting.
I had this motherboard B85M-HDS Kingstone memories but when you were connected to two monitors (VGA and HDMI) system does not boot, I sent it back to EMAG and got a Gigabyte motherboard, now everything is ok .
Speaking of memories that you have bought are nothing 1600 G3220 Mhz Intel processor only supports 1333.
    In as many reviews

  19. Hello Cristi,

I have a question: software development leaves behind current hardware, that software developers and software for PC components are oriented towards the future and try to optimize specifically for them?
    Why ask this question?
Because I have a computer for about 5-6 years strong enough, but I noticed that it does not move at first, although I maintain: cleanup, defrag, virus guarded.

I want to buy a gaming PC performance. I want a processor i7 4790 (Or if you know a better one), 16 / 32 gb RAM, GTX 770 memory.
I want to know if it is worth buying from a brand as it is Dell, to get one made by a known site (Pc garage) or I set up my one? I want to be stable and not to make noise as if turning a Dacia (not allude to anything) :)). If I configure one PC will not stop and will restart pointless when I burn it? I wish the best configuration that can be achieved with 5000-5500 lei.
    Thank you in advance !

Worth the money / I could get something more powerful about the same amount?

  22. Hello there! So I do, I will exchange with one of the two graphics cards!
To achieve this configuration I tried to apply what I learned from you, watching tutorials and then trying to make configurations using e-mag platform (I've used it)!
Confirmation that this configuration is good (except the graphics card), I enjoy very much, meaning I learned ceteceva!
Through again thanks for your help!

  28. Hello !!! I want to know if the following configuration is good. MSI 1.MB B85-G43. Thermaltake SMART 2.SURSA 630W. MSI AMD RADEON 3.GPU R7 OC 250 2048 MB. HyperX 4.MEMORIE 8GB FURY (2 # 4gb) DDR 3 1600MHz. CPU Intel Celeron G 1840,2800MHz, HASWEL, 2MB

  29. Dear Cristi,
Regarding this configuration, although posting has almost 1 year, I believe that this system is very good and I want to buy myself these components.
I wanted to ask you about the motherboard if you can tell me what format it is because on the site at E-mag this is not specified but someone said in a comm that it is Micro ATX. Does this mean that a case in the same format must be purchased? Are there any weaknesses for the systems with micro ATX housing?…. I mean correct ventilation, wire management, etc.
    Anticipated thanks for the answer.
