How to capture desktop video in Ubuntu Linux - video tutorial

Hi friends, in today's tutorial we will talk about video capture Ubuntu Linux operating system. Specifically we'll see how and what software used to record what is happening on Ubuntu desktop. The software used in this tutorial is now called Kazam, a soft capture extremely simple, intuitive, able to record the sound from a microphone or sounds produced by a player or operating system.
With Kazam we can even capture selective. That means you are not required to record the entire desktop but in this region, selected by us. If you want to make a quick tutorial to show someone how to do various tasks in Ubuntu and one of the steps shown, it takes something more, you can always put on pause and catch a resume as soon as the task requires waiting time, the ended.
A drawback is that the software Kazam final video capture formats are MKV and WebM, some not too popular formats that can not easily be played from any web service or any player. That will mean that you have to make a conversion of video files resulting from capture in popular formats like. Avi or. Mp4 depending on the place where you want to climb or service and play these files.
Yet this is not a big problem because video conversion software for Ubuntu is enough. In the future we will address and a tutorial about video conversion software for Ubuntu if you ask us this on the comments section.
Here is the address referred to in the tutorial video: https://launchpad.net/kazam
What I liked very much the Kazam is that we can set frame rate caturii a lower framerate mean a final video file smaller (takes up less storage space) and a higher framerate means a final Video occupy more space. Also, we can set a time of preparation to start capture (how long to wait soft when I clicked the Record button (Register) to start propriuzisa video capture) and we can choose whether we want to capture in see or not the mouse cursor.
That said, if you want to capture your desktop in Ubuntu Linux and do not know how, I invite you to watch the video tutorial to see exactly how to use it to capture video Kazam desktop operating system Ubuntu Linux

In the top panel in the volume icon> Sound settings> Input> Connector: Here you select: Front Microphone - if the microphone is inserted in the front panel or Rear Microphone - if the microphone is connected in the panel behind the unit.

I really want to do this tutorial, unfortunately my recorder does not want to work, when you get your hands on one I will definitely make this tutorial.
In principle it is easy if you have a tv tuner or capture card on your PC, you use the tuner input and then capture the signal in digital format.
