Hi friends, in this tutorial I will show you how we can make a bootable usb sitck on which we will put the famous live CD with tools Hiren's Boot CD 12, with its help we can repair the system, we can do devirus, backup / restore, file recovery, partitioning and many more, Hiren's Boot CD is a live cd on which there are a lot of useful software, this cd runs in live mode (we don't have to install anything, it runs directly), such a CD is almost indispensable for those who deal with troubleshooting software and hardware.
Hiren's Boot CD was designed to be used as a live CD but we will put it on the stick, the advantages are obvious, the usb stick is smaller, easier to transport, it doesn't scratch like a cd, it can be used and on netbooks, the latter do not have a DVD drive and that is why we cannot use a live cd unless we attach a usb DVD drive on usb which costs quite a lot.

The process of transforming the usb stick into a bootable environment is quite simple, all you have to do is download the archive with the Hiren's Boot CD 12 ISO image and the syslinux archive from hiren's official website, then we just have to follow the steps from the tutorial.

The method presented by cristi cannot be used for windows but only for linux. To make a live usb stick you have to use BartPE and an ISO image of winows. The problem is that after booting you will have a bald windows without any driver and no you will be able to use any of the already installed programs… logically! … So first you have to make a custom windows ISO image with the drivers of your system and the utilities you want to use… the thing is that if you use the stick on another system and you will have problems so my advice is that if you want a live usb OS choose a linux distribution, Bactrack I recommend I tested it on dozens of systems and it always recognized all the drivers
