What is Samsung's Good Guardians?
Good Guardians, is the former Galaxy Labs, which is now a suite of applications with which we can modify various settings of the phone, which we normally do not have access to.
An example of a setting you didn't have access to before is changing the threshold at which the processor enters thermal throttling. That is, this setting allows the phone to heat up more and reduce its frequency less often.
Another example is keeping multiple applications in RAM. This setting helps to have a better experience on the phone, avoiding the lag when opening some applications, if they are not in memory.
Why is Good Guardians only available on Samsung phones?
Because the Samsung phone is manufactured by Samsung, it is normal for Samsung software developers to have access to important data to use to modify hardware behavior.
Samsung doesn't have the tools to control hardware, a Xiaomi phone for example, because they don't have access to some vital information.
However, it is possible that some applications in the suite will work on other phones as well, in case someone bothers to protect the application and make it publicly available.
