iPhone 6S, return from iOS 11 to 10 (iOS downgrade)

iPhone 6S, return from iOS 11 to 10

iPhone and iPad, return from iOS 11 to 10
Hello friends in today's tutorial we'll see how we can get back from iOS 11 to iOS 10 for iPhone and iPad. Specifically, we will return to the iOS 10.3.3 version, as only this firmware version is still signed by Apple.

Why return to an older version of iOS?

One of the main reasons we want to downgrade from iOS 11 to iOS 10 is that the battery life on iOS 11.0.1, 11.0.2 and 11.0.3 is disastrous. This was especially the case with iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus.
Although I own an 6S iPhone, I have encountered this problem with the battery. This quickly downloads on iOS 11.0.3.
If we add to this main reason for the battery and the fact that you probably do not like the new iOS 11, I think the reasons why you want to go back from iOS 11 to iOS 10 are enough.

What do we need to downgrade from iOS 11 to iOS 10?

To get back to iOS 10 on iPhone or iPad, we need the Apple device (iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6S, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus), iTunes installed on your computer (Windows) or Mac OS, data (recommended by the original), the firmware version of your Apple device that you want to return to and which can be downloaded from https://ipsw.me/

Tips to keep up with before you start downgrading from iOS 11 to iOS 10

- turn off Find iPhone on your Apple device (Settings, your account name “Apple ID, iCloud, iTunes and App Store”, iCloud, Find iPhone)
- turn off the antivirus software or security suite you have installed on your computer
- turn off the firewall (if you have this installed and enabled on your computer)
- connect your Apple device via the data cable to your computer only via the rear USB ports and NOT the front USB ports
- do not interrupt the downgrade process in any way
- if you can, use a laptop to downgrade to prevent a downgrade that could occur in the event of a power outage / outage

  2. Hi Adrian,
I intend to go from Android to iOS, in your opinion, is it worth buying an iPhone 6s now at the end of 2017, as the price is 2400 RON?

  3. Hi Adrian,

I only mention that the downgrade works only for iPhone 6s. For iPhone 6, for example, Apple is no longer signing the 10.3.3 version of iOS.

Things are changing rapidly from day to day. A few days ago it was possible for the other devices. It's not something we can control. I also said on another occasion (because this tutorial is not the first on the downgrade theme, I've done one in the past, you find it with the search box at the top right) that the time you can downgrade does not know anyone. It's a lottery. I also noticed that, for example, the iOS 11.1 final version arrived on the iPhone 6S after it was offered on the iPhone 5S, SE. So 5S had the update to iOS 11.1 before 6S. That's Apple!
