Hi friends, in today's tutorial you'll learn together how to install Nero native version for Ubuntu Linux, and how to make a bootable CD using the Ubuntu Linux operating system. When it comes to CD recording software for Linux does not sit too well in this respect. Therefore we decided to make this tutorial to somehow come to a solution to this shortcoming that it has Linux. Brasero Disc Burner or CD / DVD Creator have all sorts of problems when we want to use a CD / DVD rewritable or you want to copy an audio CD. One solution would be to install software K3B libraries but unfortunately it uses Qt and KDE interface and if you opt to install it we wake up with full KDE desktop installed on our PC with Ubuntu. Besides it will install all sorts of unnecessary software and then as a solution, I think it is best to use Nero. Nero offers on their official website 4 version Nero Linux version that will run natively on OS RedHat or Ubuntu or Fedora. Being a Linux user I used Nero Linux 4 I tested this and I can say that I've never experienced any problems in using it. In this short tutorial we showed how to use Nero and Brasero Disc Burner, your choices, how to make a cd bootbil using Ubuntu Linux and so on. If you do not know drop sucks. Adrian, I think I understand now why you chose Nero (which just between us, it is the best burning software in linux), I think you want to present Ubuntu OS clean with desktop manager Gnome that comes default, but all the libraries and dependencies that installs K3B are the desktop manager's KDE you have to admit that is the best linux desktop manager
Thousand one do not like KDE no, I did not liked any version of KDE before. All suffer from the same disease: instability heavy crash over crash, strange behavior and different on the same PC if Kubuntu reisntalarii. Nero Linux remains the best burner and Windows version of Nero 6 7 and are flawless. When I installed Ubuntu 10.10 I had several ntfs partitions and one fat32 on which I had the backup done with Acronis. You go and burn CD or DVD from Nero Linux Express. There, choose Data CD or Data DVD, add pictures and give Burn. That's all you need to do.
