Solving slowdown Android phones through the Trim command

Hi friends, today I thought it would be good to talk about slowing Android devices after a certain period of use, a phenomenon known as lag, an older acquaintance he made hard days and Windows XP.
Lag on Android smartphones and tablets arises from a lack of orders from the storage, namely lack Trim command (FSTR).
Trim command support flash controller to acknowledge areas of the operating system released by deleting files or uninstalling applications. In the absence of TRIM command controller must do extra work, which penalizes performance and speed read-write, this of course translates to user frustration.
In Android Jelly Bean 4.3 was introduced support for Trim, unfortunately not all phones and tablets on the market will receive this update (except Nexus sites), or even if it will receive will happen as early as a few months .
Fortunately for us in Google Play Store there is an application that allows us to do manual Trim, the application is called LagFix (FSTR) and requires root (unfortunately for those without root).
Careful:
On older devices this application can not run the Trim command.
On the controller devices that do not support Trim also will not work (even if they are dispositive us).
To function, application LagFix (FSTR) must play on root-financed devices.
Some devices will require a restart.

Smartphones or tablets do not come rooted (except extremely rarely, some more "exotic" devices)
Even devices with Android Google Nexus range not come root-financed.
The root is that jailbreak the iPhone is something that the user has to make and to take risks for the root of them.
The pure Android (AOSP) or met at Samsung, HTC, Sony does not come at the root and this is because it wants to protect utilizatorrului. Root-area device involves a little skill and no idea what it means and what makes the root (there is even a tutorial with this title)
The root misused can endanger your device, personal information

We already have video tutorials on the subject (as rooteaza, what is the root, how to install a different operating system or a custom rom. You find the search box at the top right)
First, to root your smartphone Yorkers need to know what version of Android running smartphones because depending on your version of Android that you have, the method of root and root files needed different areas.
To find out which version of Android you would go to Settings> About phone> Android version.
Once you know this use Google and search: "how to root huawei y200" press the enter key and you will even find some videos on YouTube
Again, attention to the version of Android that you have!

  14. I have android 2.3.6 and it doesn't work. I have a samsung galaxy w and it is rooted. it tells me that the TRIM is not supported. sorry, it was a good alternative like how much lag it has…

  15. Alex567PS The phone is rooted

George: I do not go .I android 2.3.6 and a Samsung Galaxy W and is rooted .imi say that TRIM is not supported .pac was a good alternative as to how lag has ...

I specified and n text, not all controllers support trim depends on how old the device or which components were used.
The devices were most likely cheaper cheap controllers without support trim.
No I did not support the Tronsmart MK980 Trim (in controller for flash).

  16. Hi I tried exactly as I saw in the tutorial! I specify I have a samsung galaxy nexus s is older released at the end of 2010! I rooted it and I installed cyanongenmood with andorid 4.2.2! 2013 version. when I run! SAYS I didn't root it like that? it is impossible… then it opens it for me (superuser) to give it priority by permanently ticking it and then it says that it needs root plus that many errors appear ..! I think it will be because it does not have a microsd slot and everything is stored in the memory chip integrated in the phone .. will it be too slow or how? for example I also have a samsung galaxy tab 2 tablet which of course is rooted and it worked… plus I managed to do it with a friend on an Orange level phone which is rooted and works… but why doesn't it work on nexus .. maybe help me please a lot lately it's going a bit hard…

As my colleague Cristi said a little above (I answer for a user who asked the same question, which is why please read the comments and the text of the tutorial before posting a comment because it does not make sense to ask the same thing " or, it is not useful to anyone) your smartphone controller may not have support for (TRIM). \
Personally I own a Samsung Galaxy Nexus and the application runs smoothly.

  18. Cristi, you said above like this: "Rooting a device involves a little skill and knowledge about what root means and does (there is even a tutorial with this title)." The rooting tutorial is incomprehensible. There you stutter, you say you look at rooting, you say it's already done after rooting.
What the hell, or you know or not know?
Or do tutorials for the sake of getting traffic to your site to keep your sponsors?
Make a tutorial clear what and how to do it, not the ancient world from the ala 2011 and half black screen and easy to say that now that you have previously.
Come on, get to work! 🙂… and do something serious, not halves.

  19. Cristi Hello! CyanogenMod not use anymore? I since I put on a s3 cm 10.1 if I got another call runs for her

  20. I didn't feel any difference on the smartphone after I gave it the "RUN" command of the LagFix Free application, probably because I flashed a new Rom for a while.

What about Chris is worth giving a lei 1100 2 32Gb 3G Motorola Xoom Black Mz616. The store told me that it sells under foarma dumping (ie tablet is sold under constructed manufacturing) which was sold last year to 3400 lei. I know it has a low resolution, and only 1.2 Ghz processor, and only 1Gb Ram, but comvins as a tablet and not a Chinese name.

ValeriuCristi, like you said above: "Root-area device involves a little skill and no idea what it means and what is the root (although there is a tutorial with this title)." "Above that" Cristi did not say but me.
As has been said and there, both tutorial and in the text above his root area is not a standard procedure available for all Android devices.
Each device has its root method, its specific tools. Root-area depends on several factors: the type of device, model, Android version to want to do root

  30. Hi all
I have an Alcatel OT 991 phone (according to everyone's budget). I rooted it with SP_Flash_Tool (it's OK - I have superuser), I increased its internal memory to 1,24 GB from 160 MB (with SuperOneClick and MiniTool Partition). The problem is that it is moving a bit slowly now. I think I should somehow optimize his RAM. Is there a tutorial for such a thing?
    Thank you very much.

I did have a good root problem and we walked through the system to change and I deleted by mistake cv cv boot Fiser gave after flash format with smart phone and open lam not show anything after I tried to give you factory reset the boot and after I was off and no longer appears nothing can light the load nor I can do that would be the problem could jump install rum

  32. I did a Allview p4duo and root and nothing we did nothing else you can do
    ?

    • If you mean what else you could do about the lag in addition to running this application I think the answer would be a return to factory settings. The phone has no hardware specifications and who knows what if we add an optimization of the Allview. Or maybe you're lucky enough to find a custom rom more optimized than the Allview.

  33. Is there an app to remove your Google Account through a Smartphone?
From what I know does not work removing a Google account without resetting.

    • Bagi account that you'll use here before and after, you can delete your current account.
If you still want to get rid of any trace of account, you will need to reset. That's because Android has any account in all corners of the system.

  34. Hello. On Allview a4 you've installed it and do not see differences in exchange tab3 it runs games without lag. About how often can use the application without damaging anything? I root devices.
