In this video tutorial we will present three of which two are new software and one you already know from a previous tutorial is about Everest Ultimate which we did a video tutorial.

These three applications we use for reading data processor and memory (cpu z), performance testing CPU before and after overclock (Super Pi) and checking the stability of a system overclocked at by applying a load on the processor, motherboard, hard disk and memory (stress test) of 100% for a longer period, in this period we will monitor temperatures and stability current components that go into them to realize that if the overclock we achieved is really stable.

You will not find anywhere overclock evidence or lessons because it depends heavily used components of the motherboard, in short, by many factors. Overclock not taught but the feeling, you have to know very well your PC and you feel you can not, when is too much or when you can. The stable overclock is long time gradually climbing a little and very patient. There is no standard but rather many variables. Excellent presentation, congratulations. I didn't know about super-pi (shame on me!)! Recommendation: maybe make a presentation at Prime 95 - if this program does not stress the CPU & mobo like a book then I don't know any other program. Plus (IMHO obviously!) Is the finest parameter in case of OC. If it somehow cracks in one of the tests, then SURE something is not "overclocked" correctly.

For those who eat in… to "overlock"
1. Refer to the motherboard manual in the “Jumper setup” section. Ex: pg. 22-23 from the Asrock P45TS motherboard manual - used by the defendant. You will definitely have something SIMILAR in your motherboard manuals. If you understand what is written there, you can start, if not, stop working as it goes.
2. Before going through the BIOS after voltage changes, CHANGE the CPU COOLER, otherwise you risk FRYING it. Preferably cooler with "a lot of metal" (see tutorial), preferably with copper bars. The use of a GOOD thermal conductor paste is also HIGHLY recommended (mandatory).
3. Enable BIOS Boot Failure Guard (if you have one, ASRock has ex, if not Worse, see where the BIOS reset jumper) installed CPU-Z and RealTemp for monitoring Prime95 OC.
4. From personal experience, it is recommended to use standard OC steps. Ex: for Intel Core Duo E2 7200 266 MHz FSB (1066), step = 1 333 MHz (1333), step = 2 400 MHz (1600) with jumpers obvious change. If you do something in between, get some frequent squinting look at RAM, Basque you screw with timing (RAM).
5. In general, the first step is stable OC without changing voltages CPU, NB, SB, VTT, DRAM. Go on car runs and Prime 95 asses off, temperatures are stable at 64-65 * C (with good cooler of course).
6. The second stage begins Ned OC. Patience, patience and again patience. It is a big and curly plurality of test voltages CPU / NB / SB / VTT / DRAM / DRAM timing (on DRAM, personal car I left, I walked just timing) / ratio CMOS (read manual and see what that!) combinations 1,2,3,4,5 1,2,3,4,5 take one (a lot!). Obviously, this time looking for games / mistress / girlfriend / consort / wife / mother-in-law / TV / beer out with friends / personal hygiene. Get your holiday.
7. Use Prime95 it without swearing. If the crack, is not his fault SAFE. Stressor is the finest of CPU / RAM. Read stress.txt and see about what you should have in consideration. Please note that OC is something very sensitive. Ex: the 408 MHz FSB, Prime95 gave errors at 404 MHz FSB no, the ratio CMOS 9.5 crack at 9 not the CPU voltage 1.40000 crack if not 1.40625 (V 0.0625 differences in CPU!). Go figure.
8. Do not go above the 2nd step. I saw dragons bragging that they took a Core 2 Duo E7200 (as we were talking about) to the FSB at 450-500 (almost double!) But I don't think so. Paint does a lot with pictures. Personally I tried this, I took the CPU Voltage up to 1.55V and it didn't even boot. I didn't push above, 1.6V was max.
Cristi once PS.Merci super pi. I tested the OC 333 (I 266 default) and OC 400 and got to test differences 5s 1M and 3 and something 512K test. Good I say. I apologize if I have too much chatting time.
