Adi, including Ubuntu has a distribution called Blackbuntu for "penetration" which in my opinion is over Backtrak 5, is based on a Debian that boots almost everything, meaning CD, stick or external hard drive (which can be do a full partitioning and installation) ... wouldn't a tutorial on this topic be interesting? ... version 2 ... with 3 is another story!
cool tutorial .. I managed using a bootable stick with Windows 8 even if the c: I win 7 installed and worked well only it fall somewhere in advanced and then in command prompt (it's on DVD with win 8 );
