How to prevent computer infection from CDs / DVDs or USB sticks with Panda USB Vaccine - video tutorial

Hi friends, in today's tutorial you'll learn how to protect our computers against most exploited methods of infecting the computer. More precisely, it is the vulnerable function Auto Run (Windows XP) or Auto Play (as it was renamed in Windows Vista and 7) the existence of any Windows operating system.
We know very well that when inserted into a USB drive, External HDD or CD / DVD with games, movies, music and so on, are greeted by a window in which we are asked what we want to do with media or storage unit , intorodusa your computer.
Well, those who deal with the "black parts" in IT know very well about this vulnerability of Windows so they thought to exploit it to make it easier for them to spread and run malware.
As you well know, any media or storage drive contains a file called "autorun.inf" usually this file is hidden and can only be seen if we set Windows to see the hidden files. This file contains some data that tells Windows what to do when the media or storage unit is inserted in the PC and also thanks to this file Windows is able to offer us different options to launch an action. It is the first file that windows reads when we insert a media or storage drive and if it contains some actions or launch commands, the Windows operating system will launch them without asking any more "questions".
Statistics show that this method is most common in the spread, execution and computer virus so you need to take some precautions to prevent infection or spread.
Most security software today, even free ones, have the option to scan any storage device or media is inserted in the PC
Some examples of free security softwares that have this option are:
AVG
Avast
If you use a security software other than those listed above that do not have such surveillance on devices inserted in the PC, you can use to fill this gap Panda USB Vaccine, a small software that allows us to vaccinate the computer to prevent the execution of unwanted files on the computer. All this software also allows us to vaccinate the USB sticks inserted in the unit. Once a USB stick has been vaccinated, the "autorun.inf" file will be locked on any computer and you will not be able to return to the initial state of the "autorun.inf" file except by formatting the USB stick.
If a USB stick was vaccinated when you will enter in any single PC, you will not be welcomed by Auto Run and Auto Play window (depending on what operating system your PC has the insert stick) even If you entered the computer stick has Auto Run / Auto Play enabled
That said, and I found myself hoping that curiosity, I invite you to follow along video tutorial.

The software presented in the tutorial also works on XP since I didn't specify anything about it, isn't it clear? If the Panda USB Vaccine was only running on 7, specify this. • I had that virus on the stick about 3 times ... win32 trojan, backdoor etc
But to automatically detect my Microsoft Security Essentials. It's a good idea, but I do not like it because I'm used to "auto play" (as written in Windows 7 in Romanian) can give direct install, view photos, play in WMP the audio / video CD, DVD and so on

  • Hey, I know it's not the right place to ask something but I tried to contact you and when I hit the send button (contact section) I appear two arrows that keep spinning and I can not say that the message was sent, in fine ..
