Very good tutorial! I learned how to make a bootable CD with Acronis software (I tried easyboot but I did).
I look forward tutorial about Acronis True Image with Universal Restore and, if possible, and a tutorial on Easyboot.

I understand - it clones disks (HDDs), but I can clone to a partition (a piece) on one HDD (with the OS) and move it to another partition to another HDD - so that I have 2 OS- identical?

You can do something simple, you can make a backup and then restore to give him another hard.
You have an option, do your virtual machine with VirtualBox and can run 2 operating systems simultaneously.

I have a notebook with a HDD 100GB, but I no longer get the space. I bought a new HDD (internal, not stick) 320 GB notebook. Using this software Acronis, to clone the current HDD which I have to give him cloned. Good. But new hardware and it needs to be connected? the internal HDD, how we connect both? he automatically knows that if current HDD clone, will clone the new hdd? Again, do not understand that part, as I connect the old and the new hard hard (which I have in notebook)? After cloning, all data remains on the old hdd?

I have two laptops, and the old one with Windows XP OS I have a program that I would like to transfer to the new one that has Windows Vista OS. I looked at the tutorials with Acronis but I still don't know how to do it, if it can be done. @emil: Well ... nothing simpler ... burn it to a CD or use a USB stick put the stick in the laptop where you have the program you want to take ... put the program on the stick and take out the stick and You put it in the other laptop ... what's so hard? There would be another solution: D. You find a screwdriver (star) around the house and open the laptop that has the program .. then open the hard drive and go with it to a center where it recovers lost data and ask them to make a CD with what do you have on it .. then you put it in that laptop..you copy it and ..BINGOOO, you have the program: D
