Hard disk rack transfer speed test on USB 3.0 - video tutorial

Hi friends, in this tutorial I will present a USB 3.0 rack for 2,5 ″ hard drives, it is produced by Inter-Tech / Sinan (not very well known). Using this rack together with a hard drive on SATA we can get an external hard drive quite fast, much faster than any external hard drive on USB 2.0.
Last time I showed you "How does an external hard drive from an old hard using a cheap rack", Now we will use a cheap rack but much faster.
Rack USB 3.0 Sinan product has the same price with similar products USB 2.0. At this point it's not worth appears again in 2.0 USB storage devices, USB 3.0 offers a speed that can hardly be ignored. Of course if it is peripheral as: webcam, mouse, keyboard, bluetooth stick, no matter you are on USB or USB 2.0 3.0, they do not require too much bandwidth.
In the test I did in the end of the tutorial to see very clearly the difference in speed between the two racks. Have made clear, the configuration was the same except the rack in the first test was a USB 2.0 rack and in the second test I had a USB rack 3.0.
If you want to do a test with a USB SSD installed this rack 3.0, please write to me in the comments box.

Not feeling any difference as soon as something connected hub is immediately felt in the system. Speed is excellent, as well as peripheral response. Is a quality hub.

  • When you did the tutorial with the usb 2.0 rack I remembered that I have an hdd from a laptop that sits in vain (it was replaced with an ssd) and I bought http://www.pcgarage.ro/rack-uri/spire/minipod-usb30/
We did tests posed and you only are taken with CrystalDiskMark and HD tune.Pe usb2.0 I got about 33MB / s and usb3.2 about 93MB / s.Am use the USB ports on the motherboard is still baza.HDD 5200 rpm Seagate Momentus only has 640 GB.
I am happy with this rack although it has a separate power supply for use in pho.
As obs. if you have a HDD you can do it a external hdd buying a rack.Nu it pays to buy and hard drive and a rack because it's cheaper external hdd company.

As you are many others, hence the success of this site. I appreciate every time that even if we share new or not useful in my everyday PC use. If hanging somewhere between neurons, has some information about hardware, software, or old or new technique that streamlines my work or open new horizons in front of my PC I can say that we had a win. I am still waiting with interest on VIDEOTUTORIAL.ro tutorials.
Being healthy and wish you all the best!

PS From my point of view it would be interesting to compare the performance of an SSD connected to USB2 and USB3, there are quite a few, like me, who still do not benefit from USB3 and SSD and would like to see live what they "lose".
