Both the top panel and the bottom can be adjusted or can acquire different functions at our sole discretion, we add features or remove functions very easily, can change the color and transparency. Also we can remove one of the panels and just stick with the one following that tasks which I removed to award a single panel. We can if we want to position each panel on each side of the desktop so up and down and left and right
Obviously these are just some of the many options that we have, not to say that Ubuntu comes already setup with an extraordinary image editor and some very well known GIMP can successfully replace Photoshop in many cases and about Our colleague Dan 4 made a series of video tutorials. All in all, Ubuntu is all you could want (in my opinion) but you need a LOT of patience and OPENNESS TO LEARN NEW THINGS. I personally am tired of so many restrictions and many shortcomings encountered on windows. In Linux you will never encounter banners stuck around your neck, addware, unwanted toolbars.

I personally managed to install and use Adobe Photoshop CS2 (click on the name to view the "proof": D). I used the trial version because I don't hack, but now I don't have a license to use it anymore.
