- if you have a USB stick or external USB hard drive that you do not want to be checked, it is recommended to disconnect them from the computer before using the software
- do not use the Advanced Tests function on hard disks that already have data, this test can only be done on empty hard disks, there is a risk of corrupting files or losing data if the hard disk contains files when running Advanced Tests
- for greater accuracy use the Long Generic test mode
What I did not like about this application: it does not offer many details about tests and not fix any corrupt sectors where they exist. It is a software only tells us if the hard drive has problems or not. It is a software diagnostic and nothing more.
