Hello friends, in today's tutorial we will learn how to install the Windows 7 operating system without it creating the 100MB partition. As you know, when installing Windows 7, it will create a 100MB partition in addition to the usual C partition. The 100MB partition is practically hidden and will not appear in My Computer but if we right click on the Computer icon and choose from the context menu the Manage function, in Disk Management, we will notice that besides the usual C, D partitions etc, we also have and a 100MB partition. In this partition are kept practically system files, boot files with which Windows 7 boots at startup. If you delete the 100MB partition you will be surprised that your operating system will not boot. If Windows XP and Vista put their boot files in partition C, Windows 7 seems to be more stubborn and creates a separate partition for booting. To me, this "procedure" chosen by Microsoft seems a bit aggressive and I can say that it restricts the user's freedom a little, although the purpose of this partition is to access more frequently used files. This partition is also used by BitLocker if we want to encrypt partition C. Users who do not have experience in this area will not know how to get rid of this 100MB partition, a partition that will prevent the user from installing Windows XP or Windows Vista . About Windows XP or installing and optimizing Windows Vista we already have tutorials.
And yet, with all of Microsoft's policies and all the "decisions" to make users stay with Windows 7 forever, we've still found a way to get rid of the 100MB partition so we can install whatever operating system we want, whether it's Windows or not. or Linux, because it is our computer and we have the right and the power to decide which operating system we want.
What is the advantage of removing this partition?
Well, we can create a backup easier, not being forced to do backup and 100MB partition, partition that will confuse a user simply create a backup with a soft ajutrul backup. We can install, as I said above, any OS we want. We may multibooting being able to managriem easier operating systems and we can even edit the file boot to set the order and the system we want to be first in the list of boot files boot is now in the C partition can be easy accessed and modified.

Adriane believe me that absolutely never happened to me the partitioning manager of windows 7 to tell me that I partitioned with nustiu what software. I partition with Parted Magic which also has Gparted in it and win 7 is installed in it. I can leave a proof with the picture of my partitions where nothing of 100M appears. I do not deny the fact that at the moment the partitioning with win7 also makes that match of 100M.
This does not mean that can not happen at other situation you encountered and that is why I believe that the method presented is useful although I also found another solution.
Namely: you partition with win7.After that, it will show between the partitions and the 100M partition that you will delete and you will extend the next partition over the unallocated 100M. And ... that's it.
I told you how I partitioned. I used an Ubuntu Live CD, I opened GParted, I deleted the C partition as well as the 100MB one, I created a new partition on which I made NTFS. I rebooted, inserted the DVD with Windows 7 and when I got to the partitions, I selected the partition I had "prepared" before with GParted and it did not allow me to proceed with the installation. He told me that the partition was allocated with GParted blah blah blah and that it needs to be formatted and reallocated. So it didn't work out for me. Then I tried Acronis Disk Director and received the same message. He told me it was made with Acronis ... blah blah. The only method I managed was to format and delete the partition with a Windows Vista DVD. I don't know how you have the hard drives ... how they are allocated to you, but peace didn't work for me.
I read the text above the tutorial, and sorry if I'm upset but let me tell you that we don't really read the text, or at least I, others don't know for sure, but you know me: I was kind about half a year or more ago and I was reading the text and then I was watching the video tutorial and I realized that many times in your tutorials it's about the same thing you say in the tutorial and in the text, without adding anything extra in the text, still in the tutorial there were brackets of different topics IT and I found that I should not waste time reading and only see the tutorial that it's okay when someone tells you out loud that you read in your mind! So those in the comments section agree with me? That's my reason for not reading the texts ..... I read a few comments above and I see that this thing is useful, maybe I will think to put xp back, but I do not know that I spent this time I had a DVD from a friend with win 7 ultimedi and lam installed and after about 2 days I put xp because my net didn't work at all, I called rds and they said they don't have any support for win 7 and I put xp without giving me any error or anything, so I think the game that 100 MB does not exist ....
nice, but there is another solution, for those who want to install a win xp and a win 7, first install windows xp, format all partitions (the part that is not partitioned from the hard disk will appear as "Unalocated space") , select with how much memory you want to make the new partition (if you want, and if you have something unpartitioned from the hard disk), write in MB, follow the installation wizard and after, facetirt and during the restart insert the DVD with windows 7 and in the partition table select a partition, any partition (except the one that the xp) gives next and starts the installation, after the first restart the dual-boot (operating systems menu) should appear in the menu select windows 7, not win xp which is in the menu as "Earlier version of windows" and continue the installation (you have to insert the windows 7 installation dvd) and you got rid of "Microsoft's insensitive blocks".
Bravo Adrian I saw that it's from fujitsu but I wanted to see if you say in the tutorial those with those languages from good installation and I have buisness sp1 and an xp sp2 oem, but xp unfortunately does not work but vista works. Good tutorial that annoyed me at the top the 100mb partition I could not delete, well I really needed. But by the way at Acronis there is no separate to boot acronis disk directory that again upsets me hirens boot cd that I only know which of them verses are good for ahci that always gives error actually failed sata I don't know what's there yes or no and it annoys me you don't know if there is acronis disk directory bootable separately that I searched but didn't find. :)

Good tutorial .... But increase the performance of the PC do this thing or simply move those 100 MB on C and ready, if so, well what else to fight to delete the game, if it does not appear in My Copmuter and don't confuse you with anything .....

Yes, I saw what is on it (If you were "tired" to read like BGD, the text above the tutorial you would have found out that I said what is on that partition, I know very well what is on it) but what is there is not necessarily in a separate 100MB partition. I have Windows 7 without that 100MB partition, the files that were supposed to be there are on C and the operating system, however, runs very well and without any problems! Not the fact that it eats up 100MB of space and doesn't show us in My Computer is the problem, but the fact that it confuses us when creating a backup or if we want a dual boot or to install Windows XP or another operating system (I repeat, things specified in the text above the tutorial that I see that you don't even damn read domle, lest you somehow read God forbid, you lose sight of children, well can it?)

You never know when or on what computer this advice will be useful to you. It didn't happen to me either, but as far as I can see, under certain conditions windows 7 could make a dent.
