For this we use VLC media player, it must be set less than one setting and a small change in the playlist will help us to put movies on your desktop as wallpaper and we will be able to run in a loop (if you want).

Yes there are other software, unfortunately is not going on all operating systems either do not work with all video formats, some cost a lot.
