A few days ago we presented how to share between the real operating system and the one in the virtual box, being Windows. If the method was a simple one because usually everything in Windows is very easy and everything consists of mouse clicks unlike Linux, on Ubuntu Linux things are a little different and here I mean how to install the Guest Additions utility. If the virtual system was XP, Vista or Windows 7 the installation of Guest Additions as well as the settings for file sharing was a simple one as I said above, it all consists of a few clicks… nex, next, finish.
On Ubuntu Linux things are a little different, actually is as simple but when you do not know something obvious will seem difficult or complicated.
In this tutorial I chose to present the Guest Additions installation which is necessary to be able to communicate with the real system as well as to benefit from some advantages, namely to be able to resize the working window in the virtual system so after installing Guest Additions we can work with the system. virtual in full screen. And last but not least, we presented the settings that must be made in the virtualbox system (Ubuntu Linux) in order to make the folders in the real system, visible in the virtual system and how we can automate the mounting of the folder we want to share in the system. virtualbox. Why automate share folder mounting? Because this is how Ubuntu Linux works, if we share a folder between the real and the virtual system, after we restart or turn off the virtual system it will not automatically mount the folder shared by us between the 2 systems, and so for this to happen automatically every time we start or restart the system from the virtualbox, we will have to automate this process by modifying the fstab file in the / etc / fstab folder so that we no longer have to manually give the share command every time we log on to the virtual system.
NOTE: The most important when making shared between the real and the virtual system are the settings you make in the virtual system to access the files in the system for real real system being less importing because we have nothing to set than done or file specified that we want to share some files in virtualbox. So if the real system is Windows XP, Vista or 7, we will do the settings in virtual boxing system will be the same if the virtual system is Ubuntu Linux.

My HDD has 2 partitions (C and D). I installed Ubuntu on C, near the windows. How can I make my mount automatically every time you get on ubuntu, partition D? I've added in playlists and music is annoying every time I forget to mount the partition manually and want to listen to music.
Then there's that authentication thing, kind of a UAC in Windows. How can I disable it? It's annoying to ask me the password every time ... I could easily do this thing on the surface, but from here I think that an order is needed, that I didn't find any interface for something like that.
