In my opinion NOd 32 is not good at all..I had a lot of antivirus on my mind ... but I didn't get along with any of them as well as I get along with KAV 2009 and KIS 2009 !! KAV is the Best. At kav you have maximum protection at any time, and don't eat any resources at all compared to Bit Defender which takes a lot of resources !!

First of all, I have been using NOD32 since it appeared on the market. Since then, I have changed several versions. Version 3 seemed the weakest to me. I am not a "seller" of NOD32 but since I have it (about 5-6 years), I have been infected with the virus only about 4 times, of which 2 times while I had version 3.
Over time I have used AVG numerous times, and my calculation on the client, because it's FREE. With AVG system is moving well, but it and viruseaza pretty quickly if you take other safety measures. It's good if you know how to use it. However, the detection rate is quite small (about 80-85%). A main advantage is scanning links in browser and show that all link if you suspect. (This functionality can be gained and WOT).
I also used BitDefender, which I don't even recommend. I tested many versions, but all of them turned out to make Solitaire a replay. Okay, I exaggerated a little, but that's the point. If a BitDefender calculus moves so hard, I'm not even interested in the detection rate. Imagine tying your baby to the crib so that if you let him out he will hit ...
Not to bore you, my options as this:
- for those with money: NOD32 internet security or at least NOD32 AV. Version 4, of course.
- for those with bittorent, as well. CAREFUL! Use pirated versions at your own risk (just because it's illegal).
- for commercial computers or stingy and / or "unskilled" users, AVG.
