Installation and presentation of the new Bitdefender Free Edition - video tutorial

Hi friends, in today's tutorial we will talk about BitDefender Antivirus Free Edition. We'll see where you download, how to install and what kind of protection it offers antivirus BitDefender Free Edition.
This version is aimed at people atehnice antivirus unwilling or know not to mess with the settings of antivirus times with options for different categories of security modules. If you want an antivirus that simply work and which will not be forced to intervene to make settings or add exclusions for files or to schedule a scan or make manual and periodical operating system, then BitDefender Free Edition is for you.
BitDefender Free Edition is based 5 modules:
1. Autoscan: BitDefender will scan files in the background periodically and services
2. Phishing: protect us from malicious websites trying to steal confidential data
3. Regular updates: This module BitDefender automatically checks for updates of new virus signatures.
4. Active Virus Control: a module that monitors running processes and identify odd behaviors or potentially harmful
5. Cloud scanning service: a module in case of a suspicious file to consult with a cloud database BitDefender and their products to see if the suspect file is infected or not.
System requirements are:
Windows XP with Service Pack 3 (32 bit)
Windows Vista with Service Pack 2
Windows with Service Pack 7 1
The antivirus is free, but in order to activate the Antivirus Shield and Automatic Scan modules as well as the update module, it is necessary to have a My BitDefender account. If you do not have a My BitDefenfer account, you can create one easily and quickly. BitDefender Free Edition can also perform on-demand scans. Simply go to the file or folder or partition you want to scan and right click then choose from the context menu the Scan with Bitdefender function. After using this antivirus, I noticed some small bugs. When an on-demand scan is performed, a new section called "On-Demand Scan" appears in the antivirus interface, showing how many files have been scanned. If we click on the box "Scan on demand" we will be shown the location of the scanned file with two buttons: "Details" or "Delete". When you click on the "Details" button, nothing happens. Also in the main antivirus interface, when I want to view the files in Quarantine by clicking on the "DISPLAY FILES" button nothing happens. That being said, I invite you to watch the video tutorial to see exactly where to download BitDefender Free Edition, how to install it and how to use this antivirus.

      And now to come of course a debate about which antivirus is better or worse etc.. Gj videotutorial.ro

      There is no "best" but "best for you"
      And the best antivirus for you is that you know how to use it, one that you know how to walk, to play, to set it up.
      If you will thank AVG for example, I was not thanking you, do not like the interface, mode, speed of reaction to infection and any detection that leaves a lot to be desired.
      What's good for me, does not mean it's good for you and what's good for you does not mean it is good for me.
      I don't like Kaspersky "to death" in vain, it will be useless for you if you don't know how to set it properly, if you don't know how to help and answer him and how to answer him when he asks you something or needs an action on your part.

  • A very useful tutorial. Note 9.
    I saw that the variant appeared from node 5 32 can make a tutorial presentation on the new node 32

  • Another very useful tutorial, how do you think Advanced SystemCare Free 5? Can make a tutorial ...
    luck still, do a great job, from the tutorial in 2008 with Acronis True Image before, I learned a lot of things
    Thank you so much
    good luck

  • Hello! I agree with you Adrian to give you an example I used a long time norton that satisfied me until one day after I gave up norton I took this latest version avasta and I am very happy with it. When it was on the avast 4 market, I didn't like it because it had an ugly interface. I don't use Norton anymore because in my opinion it takes up too much space.
    Bitdefender takes up a lot of space and makes the system difficult in my opinion. Scanning to bitdefender takes too long.

  • It is one of the best free antivirus. About doing well in all areas (detection, disinfection, etc..). I tested (on a Fiser containing malware, the malware Domaine List on Malc0de) and found that excellent runs and reacts.
    It has some major flaws (or at least from my point of view)
    - takes up a lot of space - after a short time of use the file is about 1GB (for example Panda Cluod, based on the same technique, takes up about 180 MB);
    - consumes a lot of resources: considering that it is just an antivirus (antivirus, antispyware, antispam) the consumption of resources is excessive;
    - cannot be set - each of us uses the computer in different environments and for different activities, we use various programs with different requirements and behaviors, which is why a security program must allow settings to be adapted to the requirements of the user and the PC- the one he owns;
    - makes various decisions without the user being able to intervene - but if he is wrong?
    - quarantined files cannot be recovered - what if it's a FP on a system file !? There are many security programs, including Bitdefender, which have caused a lot of inconvenience to users (the need to reinstall the operating system, data loss, program loss). And these events are not so few (as claimed by a Bitdefender representative who tried to answer this problem).
    But, taking overall solution Bitdefender Free is not insignificant. On the contrary, offers excellent protection.
    Continued success in your work.

        What prolific guys are gentlemen or fail to keep up with you while not watch all the tutorials (are above my level, I have android, etc.).
        Now, about Bitdefender: I had the system infected so well that I had to reinstall the OS. As I don't know how, I took him to the service where, in the end, they "shod" me with Bitdefender (licensed, yes). It's good, it does everything, it also scans the sites I want to watch and it alerts me BUT it eats up a lot of resources.
        I had a trial period to Malwarebytes and I was very happy that I reject any attempt to break into the system. But to end and I do not have the opportunity to buy it (not visa card, nothing else). If I can give advice, thank you.

          1) Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is not an antivirus but an antimalware (as the name implies) that is excellent for a range of infections (not total).

          2) Now what security program you choose! I do not know what operating system you have. But let me try to help you.

          A) If you have Windows 7 (or Vista):
          - in this case you are sure over 2 GB / RAM:
          a) Free:
          - Windows 7 Firewall + Avast Free Free (or Avira Free - but if you have a cracked Windows then don't use it because it will erase it) + Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Free (scan with it weekly)
          b) The license fee:
          - Kaspersky Internet Security or Norton Internet Security

          B) If you have Windows XP (you really need to have SP3)
          - in this case you have <2GB / RAM
          Here are several cases:
          a) between 1 - 2 GB / RAM:
          - Avast IS, Norton Is (these are licensed for a fee) or CIS 5.8 (this is free) if you have at least 1GB
          b) 1 GB / RAM is installed by Avast Free + Comodo Firewall
          - if I had a 1 GB PC / RAM I would install Kaspesky IS or Norton IS
          - if I had a PC <1 GB / RAM I would install one of the free solutions mentioned above

            I have Windows XP and I know so little. I said I was happy because I saw many, many blocked attempts to enter the system. But, as I and recognized, I do not know. I had Avast May to the beginning (er, almost a year ago, yes, it's a laugh) but someone advised me to quit. Now I see I was wrong. Thanks so much for your advice!

  • hello. I also tested this antivirus, honestly in my system I didn't feel its presence, but the fact that it doesn't have any options, and it makes its own head nor that antivirus, so I went back to norton antivirus 5. which in my opinion is the best in all respects (the best in its area) adk I can't compare it to an internet security, etc, norton consumes me 2012 mega in total, 12 processes of 2m each, bye
