ISO Recorder or how to make an ISO image from any CD or DVD - video tutorial

Hi friends, today's tutorial we will talk about ISO Recorder, an application that allows us to make ISO images of any CD or DVD.
For eemplu if you have a CD / DVD with an operating system and want to make a backup of it, we can make the CD or DVD into an ISO image with the help of ISO Recorder. Basically we have a virtual image of the CD or DVD that you can manipulate as we wish, we can use the resulting ISO images as VMware or VirtualBox virtual machine to install an operating system on the ISO image or we can use this ISO image if netbooks where, as we know, we have no optical drive (CD-ROM, DVD-ROM).
Also, ISO Recorder can handle and burning of ISO images to a CD or DVD without using sophisticated software or cumbersome for the operating system.
What I liked about ISO Recorder is that it has integration with the context menu that appears when right clicking on the optical drive or ISO image existing facilitating quick access to the application.
ISO Recorder deals not only CDs or DVDs that contain operating systems, it can make an ISO image from any CD or DVD regardless of its content. I wanted to mention this because most people understand the image bootable ISO image of the operating system.
ISO standard (ISO-9660) and a compression mode that contains a copy of the original file bit by bit.
ISO Recorder works on any version of Windows and is a software that should not be missing from the "toolkit" of PC enthusiasts.
That said, I invite you to watch the video tutorial to see how to make an ISO image from a CD or DVD using ISO Recorder.

Windows comes with basic function 8 to open iso right?

Yes but has no ability to make a copy in ISO format from any type of CD or DVD

  • AND with Power Iso we can do the same thing as with Iso Recorder, but we can't balance a free software with a commercial one ...

  • But how can we copy the contents of Windows from a CD / DVD .iso format on your computer?
I mean computer to iso image to a CD / DVD for Windows.
    thanks.

Well, that's exactly what I showed in the video tutorial above. Did you look head over heels at the tutorial? .... where do you keep your mind when you watch the brothers' tutorials? Did you read the text above the tutorial in its entirety?

  • Cristi no longer does tutorials on videotutorial.ro? ... because I saw that I haven't done any tutorials since August

  • Patric:
to create an ISO knew were working and WinZip WinRAR ...

You knew wrong, these two can extract the contents of an ISO image but can not create an ISO image. Making an ISO is exactly like you have in the PC CD that just do not need the physical CD, it is a faithful copy of that CD that then you can multiply on other CDs

  • Stefan:
Cristi is not videotutorial.ro tutorials? ... I saw that the by August I have not done any tutorial

I'll start myself again, I handled things less noticeable for a while.
