A new function for hosting video files in the cloud with the help of Google Docs service - video tutorials

Hi friends, in this video tutorial will present the new feature of Google Docs, it's even video files hosting platform Google Docs.
Files uploaded to the cloud on account Google Docs can be viewed anywhere, logging is not necessary, just permission to climb the file, it must make some settings in your account to allow others access to files.
This facility opens up in cloud storage, unfortunately space is limited to 1024 MB is normal if we think that Google Docs is a web platform for viewing and editing documents.
The player is identical to the one on YouTube, Missing only YouTube watermark at the bottom right. Perhaps many of those who host the videos on YouTube will try this solution, especially as an upgrade space in cloud is not expensive at all.
Prices for increased space in Google Docs:
20 GB ($ 5.00 USD per year)
80 GB ($ 20.00 USD per year)
200 GB ($ 50.00 USD per year)
400 GB ($ 100.00 USD per year)
1 TO ($ 256.00 USD per year)
I do not want to tell you how normally cost hosting professional video, now 2 years I wrote a mail to the Brightcove in which I asked an offer, they asked me back then 900 dollars a month for hosting our files (video tutorials), their offer was decent considering that then consume around 600 GB per day but for us it was a little much considering that this was the price just for hosting video, eventually we chose another solution that we use today successfully without modesty think tutorials us loads extremely well, scrolling is done in real time and quality you see made.
Prices in the Google Docs cloud storage are extremely small, it would be great if that space could be used extensively for a very busy website, one to inquire and we will come back with an update.
Another advantage is the option to upload video files lasting more than 15 minutes, as it is known on YouTube It is the limit of 15 minutes.
If you are interested in the subject will get back with details on how to use video files in presentations, just to make a mark on our comments box.
Remember, if you have suggestions, complaints or additions do not hesitate to write in the comments box, de-also if you met the comments box a user has a problem and you can help him, do not hesitate to do it, the only way we can do this place better, see the comments box!
Enjoy !

  • It is noted that those figures when it comes to storage space, refers to gigabytes, so 1000GO = 125GB.

Where did you get that 1000GO = 125GB
A byte consists of bits 8 and those are called octet.
      A byte equals one byte so 1GO = 1GB.

  • Interesting tutorial ... But the link you left above the tutorial doesn't work. Anyway, the tutorial is very good ... Make a tutorial with Google Site, I would hear that it is interesting and free!

  • It may be a very efficient "delivery" system but it does not compare with the clarity of the videos that benefit videotutorial.ro visitors :) Even at 720p the quality of the video image compared to what we have is pathetic

  • Moving or bringing in future tutorials on Google as a downgrade in terms of quality and an upgrade in terms of technology.

  • Would be an alternative to google docs: screencast.com from TechSmith. Here we 2G free and purchase some space for lower prices.
    However, Google remains crazy: D
