OCR Online, a service for recognizing text from scanned documents and pictures - video tutorial

Often you were probably in a position to need the text in a picture, or have had the image of a scanned bill, or have to do a license for end of school year, and it's quite unpleasant for some to sit, to type each word in Microsoft Word. In order to ease the work we could scan pages containing text that we need a license to work but how to take those pictures or text from images imported from the scanner? Nothing could be simpler!
Online OCR (Optical Character Recognition) is an online service that will expire to extract text from a photo or image of any type, giving you after extracting the document in the following formats:
Adobe PDF (pdf)
Excel (xls)
4.0 HTML (HTML)
MS Word (doc)
Word RTF (rtf)
Plain Text (txt)
If the text in the image is in a language other than Romanian, you can select what kind of recognition to make this work, I basically say what language is the text currently in the picture and it will do the rest for you. Service is extremely simple to use and easy! This tutorial is just the beginning of this topic by following us to address in a future tutorial and software to do this in a professional way and to be integrated with Microsoft Office. A software that does this is ABBY FineReader.
But what both a longer, better let to follow along this video tutorial that shows OCR!
Remember, we are waiting for opinions and suggestions in the comments box.
Enjoy!

  • Howdy !!!
Very good idea with this tutorial! Many lose entire nights writing all sorts of papers, projects, reports and so on, etc.. Now I was in a stylish way how to do it much easier. All those who will ask me I will direct you to this videotutorial and probably the next about ABBY FineReader. ABBY FineReader I personally use and is very good, as Adrian says in the comment above is a professional!

    Keep up the good work!
    We only hear good

  • Adriane's great that you mention it. 2 professional and very good software ABBYY FineReader and OmniPage are 17. What is important to know is that the camera goes, not only scanner. Even has some integrated ABBYY FineReader OCR engine for recognition of an option for photos.
