Data recovery if windows no longer works with Puppy Linux - video tutorial

Hello friends, I'm Dan and this video tutorial we will see how to recover data from the C: drive when the operating system does not want to start various reasons.

If, for any reason, Windows (XP, Vista, it doesn't matter) no longer wants to start and you have files to recover, you have several options:

- System Repair after Windows CD (ineffective if the problems were caused by viruses)

- Mounting the hard drive in another computer (inefficient, if the computer is sealed or you do not have the necessary knowledge)

- Reinstalling Windows on another partition (ineffective if the problems were caused by viruses, plus access problems such as "access denied")

- File recovery using Linux Live CD, the method I will exemplify in this video tutorial.

Recovery can be done (with almost anything) Linux Live CD, ie a Linux operating system that boots (starts) directly from the CD (live cd). Recovery is possible only if you have not encrypted / protected the data in any way (with the option in Windows or with special encryption). In this case, recovery is not possible by the method presented in the tutorial, but by methods specific to the situation (programs used for encryption, etc.).

Need Puppy Linux. It automatically recognizes the hard / optical drive SATA / USB stick and has an easy to use graphical interface.
