Online bios update for Gigabyte Windows motherboards with @ Bios - video tutorial

Hi friends, this tutorial will show you how to do it online for peace bios update Gigabyte, the update will be done in Windows using the @ Bios is very user friendly.
Last time I showed you how to update the bios with the help of a floppy, unfortunately not everyone has a floppy, even the support for the floppy is on the verge of extinction, that's why I decided to present you the easy version, the version that many are wary, I don't understand why a company like Gigabyte doesn't download a tool that could create motherboard problems, but you know how it is, some are harder to adapt…
The @ Bios utility is super simple, you don't need too much experience to understand it, the trick is to be patient, the update process can be unclear sometimes (during the check, when downloading the update), some users might be tempted to give up, it is not recommended because the bios update is not a game, without bios the motherboard is dead. @ Bios is a precise application, it doesn't start flashing if it's not all right, a carefully made utility, we just flash the bios….
With the @ Bios BIOS update can do on the net, yes you heard right, no need to download a BIOS image before even application can do that, our application will check the BIOS version after our basic plate.
Before writing the image on the chip, we can save the old version to be sure it is even recommended to do this, especially as only takes a few seconds.
After the BIOS update you must restart your PC careful when setting IDE / AHCI after update BIOS settings are reset to factory parameters, that will work in SATA IDE mode, AHCI if you had set before the update, shall immediately enter the BIOS and set AHCI again because Windows will not start.

  • It is not recommended to update any motherboard through windows, because you can even damage the bios. I suffered with a GIGABYTE motherboard, I don't remember what model it was, but I know I had an Intel Core2Duo processor. I updated with the "@ BIOS" program. The board had dual bios, and when I wanted to see if the update was done, I saw that the date from AMIBIOS had not changed. It was the stock with which the plate came.

If you update the bios on GIGABYTE motherboards have very carefully, because the files are downloaded from the server BIOS Chinese or Japanese, and might download an incomplete bios and a bios flash look corrupt.

If you buy a motherboard, buy an ASUS one that has the "BIOS Flashback" function. With this function you can flash a bios even if it is corrupted from a USB stick, without a processor, frame or video card.
Need source USB stick with BIOS file. Press the button and the BIOS update is ready.

Make sure you do if you are not sure you do, or why update the BIOS to wake the computer nebootabil!

  • It would be helpful if you could do a tutorial on the new GIGABYTE UEFI, so we see the new BIOS and load time of Windows.

  • I got a Gigabyte GA-HA65M-D2H-B3 rev. 1.0 H61 chip and I intend to take a series ATI Radeon 7000 someday. Most likely would have recommended a BIOS update, but until then I think it is time. I also have a small problem i3-2120 processor that does not even fix the 3,3 GHz frequency. I fixed 99,8 MHz FSB CPU instead of 100 MHz and thus having 33x multiplication, CPU frequency only goes up to 3292,5 3300 MHz MHz instead. My source is not just a pan, a source Chieftec Smart GPS 400W 400 and therefore I do not have to think about it. I do not mind that the frequency is slightly lower as needed, but I want to know if a BIOS update might influence this in any way.

  • Greetings! I also have a gigabit board on AM3 socket and the problem is that I have no revision on its box in which it came packaged although on the site the board has 3 revisions. I tried to find reviews with `speccy` which also has a tutorial on the site but it didn't help me in that sense. What can I understand from this? Should I give up a bios update in this case?

My first computer was an IBM 5150! And I've had almost 25 computers so far. Nobody uses floppy disks anymore, they can't be found in the store either ... The price of a floppy is more expensive than a CD-R or DVD-R. I know how to update the bios, and I did more than 100x ... And not just from the floppy disks on the old motherboards that were new in their time. You could also update the bios by changing the ROM Chip bios manually ...

I know what I'm talking about ... I'm not that stupid ... I had 100 motherboards, which I received for free from a friend who is a geek, who buys components in his computer every year repeatedly...

  • I also have a small problem: when I turn on the computer, I wait for it to load and when "welcome" appears something appears to me and I have to give "Reslove now" or it loads another 5 seconds where it says "Reslove leater". If it can help me someone what can I do to get rid of this !!! Thank you

  • I got an HP with win 7 pre-installed and in the bios I have that OS windows 7. can it be deleted? I tried to change with linux or bsd (to replace OS) but I had problems, so I'm on windoz again. What can be done to get rid of that thing with bios operating system?
