I also have a question, if I use Nero to copy cd / dvd does it not automatically remove the protection? I know he was saying something like "buffer under protection" ... Does this program do the same thing as Nero? Or is it something different?
Nero does not remove any protection ... a dry message like "this disk is protected, cannot be copied" will appear.
Copying discs with dvdshrink is a classic way to get rid of dvd protection, but still effective. As far as I know, there may be protections that cannot be removed with a dvdshrink. To do this, search for "RipIt4Me 1.7.1.0". You may also need to install "dvd decrypter" in order to use "ripit4me"
