With the passing of the internet, more and more radio stations are popping up like mushrooms after the rain, and you are probably wondering how to make such a station or how you can broadcast music through the internet.

In what follows to make a radio 3 we need to deliver music software needed for the Internet.

1 Winamp (audio player)
2 Shoutcast (DSP Plugin for Winamp Player)
3 Shoutcats DNAS (Server will help us to emit music)

Things are simple, first install Winamp, then install Shoutcast DSP and Shoutcast DNAS, after installing them we open Winamp press Ctrl + P, click on the left window that opened on DSP / Effect and from the box in right click on Nullsoft SHOUTcast DSP. In the window that opened SHOUTcast Source go to the "Output" tab, click on Yoellowpages where in Description we write the name of our radio (eg: Radio Pirate) at the url you can leave it like this or in If you have a web page, a site there you can add the address of your site.

At Genre we write the musical genre you want to broadcast (eg: Pop, Dance, Hip Hop, Popular), now we go to the next tab "Encoder" where at Econder Type if you have a good internet connection, and a width of good band you can choose AAC + Encoder for a good quality, a stereo and clear sound, if you have a weaker / medium connection my advice is to set MP3 Encoder and at Encoder Settings to choose maximum 40kbps, 22.050kHz, Stereo!

Now let's go to the next step where we have to configure the server, for this we click on Start then on All Programs, SHOUTcast DNAS, and click on Edit SHOUTcast DNAS configuration, a text file will open in notepad, we scroll down a bit and we are looking for the line “MaxUser = 32” where 32 is the maximum number of listeners that our server supports, if you want you can change the maximum number of listeners by deleting 32 and putting a number you want !! But beware, too, if you have a weaker net, it is recommended to leave it set to 32, or you can set a number of less than 32 listeners.
We go and look for this line "Password = changeme" where we will set the login password to the server, deleting "chengeme" and putting your desired password eg Password = 123456
After setting all this we return to the SHOUTcast Source window, click on the "Output" tab, then click on Connection and at Password we pass the password set in the file "Edit SHOUTcast DNAS configuration"
All we have to do is go to Start then All Programs, SHOUTcast DNAS, click SHOUTcast DNAS (GUI) to start the server, and in the SHOUTcast Source window on the Output tab we click on the "Connect" button, let's play to a song in Winamp and CONGRATULATIONS you are on air as the radio people say, and broadcast your music on the internet !!!
