Operating system installation virtualbox video tutorial

This is the latest in a series of three tutorial video tutorials virtualbox.

Now we will show how to install an operating system in a virtual environment using only an ISO image of the operating system.

We chose Linux because it is free, however many people do not use it, why? For this operating system uses a different file type than those known to Windows (FAT, FAT 32, NTFS).

This drawback can be eliminated with the help of virtualbox that uses a virtual hard disk.

But to follow video tutorial.

  • OK I came back ... I posted another video. I watched with great interest this series of videos with virtualbox, because I'm tired of making mistakes on my system and having a weaker one I can hardly fix the mistakes, I decided to -I take this little "guinea pig" virtual box on which I can try my programs quietly. Now ... I managed to install it and I put an operating system on it, namely windows xp SP2 clean! but my question is: how do I have a net in virtual box? I have net through RCS ... I followed the steps in the virtual box with ... new connection wizard, I set the user and the step and when I connect it doesn't connect, so how do I get net on the virtualbox? I would be grateful if you could even make a tutorial or leave me a comment here with the steps I have to follow if this is easier for you. Have a good evening and know that you are doing a great job !!! Sincerely Adrian

  • I do not have net at rds but I'll see who's interested and see what I can do.
Until another one you see that you have in the options a thing called "install guest additions" and maybe you will achieve something with it.
    CITE PCS so many problems.
Thank you for your visits and comments.

  • If I have a computer that is not performing well enough for the vista to play well on it, I can still try an opist. Vista on my computer using the virtualbox? I have installed on my computer an xp that is moving quite well. To tell you honestly, I downloaded a hole on the torrents and I want to try to see if it's good and that's why I ask you.

  • You can try the virtualbox any operating system not only windows.
You can try: windows vista, windows xp, windows 2000, 7 Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris and more.
Besides operating systems you can install new software to test them in a safe environment without affecting your operating system.

  • You say hello, do a fantastic job with video tutorials, I found many programs which I had no idea there as is the VirtualBox.
It's amazing what you can do with this program, but I had trouble connecting to the internet, USB stick or audio.
    Yesterday I found a program more advanced and as simple to set up;
It's called VMware Workstation 6.5, I installed it and have not had any problems
with internet connection (RDS), automatic stick sees, and with VMware Tools can do copy, paste, or drag and drop from host to guest.
Cristi and you could do a tutorial on VMware?
    Thanks and enhanced job!

  • And with virtual box you could have these options, but you have to install something extra after installing the virtual operating system "INSTALL GUEST ADDITIONS"
In what concerns wmware, I do tutorials and about wmware player but wmware server.

  • I installed Guest Additions but I couldn't connect to the internet, probably because of the PPPOE connection, and the USB didn't want to see it dead. Okay, I'm not even an expert, but VMware went razor sharp .
Congratulations tutorials, I came to you for any 2 days and only watch them!

  • I do not know what's up with the rds because I have not, but I'll ask someone who has, in contrast with USB fix the virtual machine settings when it is turned off.

  • if I have an image of Un PC operating system can test it with virtualbox if it is good and has no errors and subsequently burn it on CD and cheating that system in reality, virtualbox can do that?
