How to hide the "read to" or "X typing" status for Facebook Chat

Hi friends, in today's tutorial we will see how we can make our friends we are talking to on Facebook Chat no longer have the status "seen at" or "X type…"
We all use Facebook, not only to post photos taken on vacation but also to communicate with friends, family or loved ones. I know I will sound hypocritical but we must admit that we often communicate with some people in force, because we feel indebted, out of pity or why not fear. Those in a relationship use Facebook Chat to test or observe the partner's loyalty, to see when he was last active on Facebook chat, at what time, if the message sent was read or not.
Although Facebook does not offer us the ability to disable the status "seen at" for Facebook chat or disable "Maria type…", we can still do these things using the extensions for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers.
The two extesii used by me in the tutorial are SeenBlock and Facebook Unseen you find in Chrome Webstore and one for Mozilla Firefox is called Unseen.
With the help of these 3 extensions, the people you are hiding from will no longer see the status "seen at" or "X type…" when you read their message or when you reply to them using the Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browser.
Unseen Facebook Chrome
SeenBlock for Chrome
Unseen for Firefox

  • A very good tutorial. By the way, if you can do in the future about '' How can we see who was online on facebook from our list of friends when we are delegated we have the PC turned off, so we can see in the morning who entered and at what time been logged in '' I know there are some applications on facebook. Only you can explain it beautifully.

    • There is no such thing. Applications that as mention are just nonsense, nonsense that many gullible quickly put the muzzle.

      • Do not know, maybe there are applications to tell you who was online from your list and at what time and how the state is simple in theory (not applications like Who viewed my profile on facebook of all foreigners) can do a totorial.

        • I see that you insist and stubbornly ask for some applications that do not exist, or if they exist, they are just facts. There may be, as there are "applications like Who saw my profile from all the strangers on Facebook", which everyone knows are nonsense. Search and you may find something like this. But it is much more possible that, when you download an application that promises to do what you want, you will be infected with a virus. Success!

  • I don't trust extensions like that because if it works on fb and shows directly from the server how much it reads the messages, these extensions will not work. plus it doesn't always work 100% extensions like I had and these extensions sometimes don't work.

  • You can do a tutorial or an announcement by the end of September microsoft free 15GB give free space to onedrive. 30GB ie in total.

PS My message can be approved or not, no offense. Bafta

  • Hello! I have a problem and I can't solve it. I can no longer access your site from your computer. I reinstalled windows, I installed windows 7 windows 8 on 32 bits in turn and in vain. I tried without antivirus and with antivirus and in vain. What can I do? Only this site I can't access otherwise everything works fine.

    • But if you sit in front of the computer can you access the site? Maybe that's the problem, trying to access the site "from the computer".

    • Have you set parental controls? I also mean "digging", it had a parental control, or elsewhere, in which you accidentally put the site, or you put it in an application (extension) in the browser. I have no other idea.

    • Have you tried multiple browsers? What exactly happens when you try to access the site? What message do you receive? Not loading, is the page blank?

  • Yes, the problem is with all browsers, the page does not load, but I solved it. I removed the router and everything is back to normal. The router is from RDS. (ZTE)
