What is the Samsung Update tutorial about ruining apps and headphones?
Sometimes, after an update, Samsung makes changes that damage applications and headphones on USB-C. This happens on Samsung phones but maybe on other brands as well.
What happened on my Samsung S10 Lite phone after I received the update to Android 11 with the OneUI 3 interface.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite phone, which I presented in This article, of which I am very pleased.
With the update to Android 11 with OneUI 3 interface, on Samsung phones, two strange things happened, which fortunately I solved, which I will show you too.
Issue 1 (applications behave strangely after Samsung update)
Applications no longer work as normal.
Solution - In the application details (settings / applications / application) the cache of that application must be cleared. This solution may work on other Samsung phone models and beyond.
Issue 2 (USB-C headphones don't work on Samsung at all)
The original Samsung headphones that came with the phone no longer work.
Solution - In settings / applications / Samsung USB-C headset / menu / Uninstall updates.
After that you have to turn off the automatic update from the Galaxy Store for this update, which may break the headphones again.
Issue 3 (Samsung phone no longer charges quickly)
I did not encounter this problem in a past update and the solution is the same as above.
Solution - In settings / applications / Samsung USB-C headset / menu / Uninstall updates.
In this case, you should also check whether fast charging is turned off in - Settings / Battery and device maintenance / Battery / More battery settings / Fast charging
Careful
Fast charging can also be disabled if in port USB-C it is dirt, lint, dust, etc.
