Hi friends, today I will present a configuration on the platform Sandy Bridge from Intel while ago I set up a more expensive at that time barely launched this platform and of course everything in the beginning, they were pretty expensive processors and chipsets.
Our system today came out pretty accessible, efficient and performance-price ratio good enough:
We have a motherboard from Gigabyte SATA and USB 3 3.0, the whole motherboard has VGA outputs, DVI and HDMI, so you can watch movies in the living room LCD (or plasma in the bathroom).
The processor is brand new with 2 cores and 4 threads, in Romanian in task manager you will 4 processors (perhaps technicians will curse me for this blasphemy), OK are two cores with two threads (thread) on each .
The video card I bought because the processor has a PGI pretty powerful hardware acceleration, it can handle any requests multimedia, even in games face course to a level (details on low), after all we can not compare graphics integrated with a dedicated video card from ATI-AMD or Nvidia.
Storage we used a hybrid solution for the system we chose a SSD brand new Intel with 270 MB / s read and 200MB / s write, storage I opted for a Seagate 1 Terra, this hybrid solution gives us and speed / response time for the system but also storage capacity. At the moment SSDs are still quite expensive and can not be used for storage. My advice would be to head to the SSDs high capacity only when a laptop, there's nothing we can do, we must SSD capacious as we have only a space for the storage (in most cases).
Housing is one of Antec OK, OK I mean when I say that is 300 times better than the 100 lei pans with no name sources.
Optionally the system can mount a video card you are you get coins, PCI Express port waiting to populate it.
