Hi friends, today a tutorial to learn how to root a smartphone LG Optimus One we P500 operating system Android Gingerbread 2.3. The method that we use today involves the use of an application ADB and SuperOneClick. Before you try this method I can say I tried several apps to root your Android 2.3 that was on a LG Optimus One P500 but we did none of the existing methods. I used z4root and SuperOneClick and GingerBreak without success.
Before you start you have to make some settings in our smartphone as follows:
- go to Settings
- then in Applications
- then in Development and check USB debugging
- go to Settings again and this time go to Storage (as it was renamed in Android 2.3 Gingerbread)
- here we tap (tap) on the Unmount SD card option
After we made these settings must install these applications as follows:
Java JDK
Java JRE
Android SDK
You will need to download and SuperOneClick of HERE
Orders for ADB:
adb devices
adb shell
1 echo> /data/local/lge_adb.conf
Before I get to work I recommend you remove all USB devices connected to your computer. Recommended is to stop in case the antivirus and firewall. Also a good idea to close all applications you have open before starting work, especially if you have open applications like Microsoft Office or heavy Photoshop or Autocad. Never connect the smartphone via USBs front housing (front panel) or via USB hubs but only USBs native of the motherboard located in the back of the computer case. It has to work the way it did for me. I didn't have my smartphone rooted when I did this. It turned out that I didn't have any Superuser applications. That's it… ..the operating system is new and we have to wait a while until we find a simpler root method like GingerBreak for 2.2

@mario Well, I also used the Russian method, but that method no longer updates the baseband and so you can switch to the custom ROMs mentioned in the thread. Custom ROM that you and I and I have to do flash the recovery. The LGMDP you need to make flash option and stock recovery, the one you have now. Connect your phone to your PC. @mario Ok, if you managed to do and you root android 2.3 now there is a simpler way to install recovery. You no longer have to go through the whole process with LGMDP. Install the ROM Manager Premium (apk find on the net) and you flash recovery option. Then boot into recovery taking hold home + power buttons simultaneously + volume up and you flash the ROM.
