Deleting Facebook data safely - likes, posts, friends, etc

In today's video, we'll see how to safely delete your Facebook information, data and account safely!

Mark Zuckerberg was heard the other day twice by the US Senate over the Cambridge Analytica scandal. Following the hearings, they found that Cambridge Analytica had the information over 87 millions of Facebook users around the world over 50 millions of users, as previously known.
From Romania they reached Cambridge Analytica, the information over 113.000 by Romanians. Following the hearings, Facebook provides a link that once accessed tells you only if your account data came to Cambridge Analytica or not, without you doing anything to that effect.

If you have decided to end it with Facebook and delete your account, we suggest the following steps for your peace of mind and to be a little "more sure" that there are no traces of your account after deleting it.

First go to your Facebook account, Settings, General and click on "Download a copy"
This ensures that you have a copy of all your data posted on Facebook, the information entered into your account when you created it, photos, comments, likes, videos, visited locations.

Wait for Facebook email with the download link of the archive where you will find all the information mentioned above.

Once we have downloaded our personal archive with all Facebook data, we can move on to the next step, which is to delete all the activity we've had on Facebook since the account was created until today.

For this we will use two extensions for the Chrome browser that got us to do different mass actions with one click.

- delete all friends from your Facebook friends list
- delete / leave all groups we have entered
- delete all the likes I gave to the Facebook pages
- unsubscribe from all Facebook pages
- accept or delete all friend requests

Once we've walked all these steps one by one, if we want, we can permanently delete the Facebook account. If you search this option in Account Settings, you guessed it will not be found!
Facebook intentionally hides this option very well! To get an idea how difficult Facebook is doing deleting your account and how well this option hides, I intentionally tried in the tutorial to give it to her and I have not found it yet!

Caution! Once you've completed the steps to delete your account, you do not have to log in (log in) at least 2 weekly (and in some cases even more). Otherwise, your account will be reactivated and Facebook automatically cancels your request to delete your account!
