Circle to search or "circle to search” is a function by which we can search in images and video for a specific object that appears in the image or video.

"Circle to search" is "Search screen" with a small difference

Search screen is a Google feature that allows the Android user to open a search for anything, in any screen, over any video, image, app, etc.

The only difference between Screen Search and Circle to search is how you, as the user, interact with the screen.

How to use Screen Search (ie circle to search)

When you're in any screen, any app, any video, it doesn't matter, wherever you are on your phone:

You simply pull from the bottom right (at least on Samsung it's like that) so that "Google" appears, which is actually a combination of google lens and the Google assistant.

A bottom panel will open with a few options, including voice assistant, translate, and Search screen.

Once you press search screen, a sequence of scanning the screen and selecting certain areas will be started. But you as a user don't have to limit yourself to the areas chosen by the AI. Put your finger on what interests you and adjust the border around the object you want to identify or search for.
